Comparison of thermal bridge calculation methods

We need to consider linear heat losses due thermal bridges for the accurate calculation of building losses. Our research examined a whole building, and different bridge methods were compared. The following techniques included in study: simplified method according Hungarian energy performance regulation where effect can be taken into account by multiplication factors applicable transmittances; catalogue ISO 14683; recent national catalogue; two-dimensional modelling as well conjugated moisture (HAM) simulation considering steady-state dynamic conditions. Overall, we created eight numerical approaches depending on type boundary condition. simulations carried out using multiphysics software based finite element 10211 EN 15026. All relevant details analysed get complete picture. Based results, each method's relative proportions surface evaluation showed that generated lowest bridges, while 14683 produced highest with numerically simulated results middle. overall varied 30 %, method. Linear between 12 % 32 study helps choose adequate perform simulations.
